Deputises the University Secretary in addition to being responsible for:-

a. Provision of Secretarial support services to Council; Coordination of Business of Council Committees and their general administration and Binding of Council Minutes including the Agenda.

b. Correspondence and application of Policy decisions on staff regulations and claims relating to:
▪ Mileage allowances
▪ Acting allowances
▪ Senior Staff  leave and registering those on leave.

c. Handling handover reports from Head of Department, Deans & Directors.

d. Serves on the following committees:
▪ University vehicles
▪ University Food Supplies Committee

e. Preparation of the Departmental Annual Report

f. Site meetings.

g. Commitment forms.

h. In charge of the Departmental Strategic Plan

i. Other duties and delegated work as may be specified from time to time.

j. Submits to the University Secretary and Deputises for him.
