Prof. Kiguli, MBCHB, M.MED (MAK), MHPE (Maastricht) is a Paediatrician and Health Profession Educationalist. She is a Professor and Past Head, Department of Paediatrics & Child Health, and Past Chairperson of the Teaching and Learning Committee of the Makerere University College of Health Sciences. Prof Kiguli was a Council Member Makerere University, Representing Senate (2010-18).
She is a Fellow of the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research ( FAIMER) Institute, President of the East African Health Professionals Educators (EAHPE) Association, Member, Uganda National Immunization Technical Advisory Group, Past Member of the Executive Committee of the Network-Towards Unity for Health (Network-TUFH) representing the Sub-Saharan Region, Women and Health Task Force of the Network-TUFH, and served as Global Faculty Advisor for the FAIMER Institute, and Faculty for the Southern Africa Foundation of Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (SAFRI) and sits on several National and International Boards. In addition, she is a Founder Member of the Women and Health: Together for the Future organization.
